Womens / Lifestyle Marketing Specialist

Position Summary

Felt Bicycles is looking for a passionate addition to fulfill the role of Marketing Specialist on our women’s specific performance and lifestyle bicycle lines. As part of the Marketing Team you will assist in identifying and executing on a variety of creative marketing efforts. You will also interact with other departments within Felt Bicycles to facilitate internal communication. 

Reports to: Brand Marketing Manager 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative communications for print, web, social media, and in-store.
  • Collaborate with team on marketing strategy and creative direction.
  • Photograph and video bicycles and athletes. Both in-studio and on-location. 
  • Editing of photographs and video.
  • Communicate with and build long-term relationships with media partners and brand integration opportunities.
  • Contribute to the Felt Bicycles race news and blog.
  • Communicate with and build long-term relationships with all departments within Felt.


  • 2-4 years marketing experience in bicycle industry, action sports industry, and/or ad agency.
  • Adobe Creative Suite CS5; Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Flash.
  • Premier and/or Final Cut Pro is a big plus.
  • Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform in high pressure situations and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills: Ability to keep order of creative assets internally and on FTP.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Proficient with a digital SLR.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40lbs.

Technical Sales Representative
Position Summary:
Felt Bicycles is looking for a passionate individual to join the Technical Sales Team.   As a part of the Technical Sales team you will operate one of our Ride & Believe demo vehicles, and a demo fleet of road, mountain, tri, and CX bikes.  You will be visiting bicycle retailers and attending key marketing/dealer events, races and festivals throughout the year.   
Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain Demo Truck & Trailer.
  • Maintain a clean and working fleet of demo bicycles.
  • Visit retailers for demos, ride nights, or clinics in a defined territory.    
  • Work with Technical Sales Rep Coordinator, outside sales rep force and dealers to create a schedule of events, demos, and clinics throughout the season.
  • Follow the procedures and guidelines set forth by management for bike inventory, schedule, travel, maintenance and reporting.   
  • Build good working relationships with Outside Sales Reps, as well as, retailers in your territory.  
  • Help dealers market their event through the use of marketing materials provided and social media outlets.
  • Assist product development and engineering through information sharing from your experiences with retailers and consumers.   
  • Assist Sales/Marketing departments throughout the year at marquee events on an as needed basis.
  • Ability to operate a truck and 20ft trailer.
  • Ability to be flexible, including working evenings and weekends on a regular basis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Good working knowledge of Road, Mountain, CX, and Triathlon.  
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to function as a leader, but also be able to work well in a team setting as needed.
  • Clean Driving Record.
  • Strong mechanical skills required.
  • Ability to present in front of a crowd.
